Star Wars Day!
May the fourth be with you.
Regardless of whether you’re a fan of the Stephen King novels, The Dark Tower is definitely looking like a movie which will be well worth your time this August. After a handful of teasers and posters yesterday, Sony Pictures has finally released the full thing (a lot earlier than expected) and it’s packed full of amazing visuals and some really cool action shots as Idris Elba’s Gunslinger races into action.
It’s clear that this movie won’t be a direct adaptation of the books, but a lot of the key elements are there. Of course, for fans of those, it’s already been confirmed that this is a sequel of sorts, so it doesn’t really matter that things have been altered and shaken up a little for regular moviegoers.
It’s looking good, anyway, and this trailer debut is hopefully a sign that Sony will start pushing The Dark Tower hard over the next few months. Should it succeed at the box office, we’ll be getting a fair few sequels and even a television series, but that all boils down to whether or not there’s interest!
What do you guys think of this first trailer for The Dark Tower? Let us know that in the usual place.

The trailer for the highly anticipated series wastes no time in showcasing the very first meeting between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. We also get a better look at Sigourney Weaver’s mysterious villain, Alexandra, and the return of Elektra, who looks far more comic-accurate this time around!
Check out all the action below and let us know what you think in the comments! The Defenders hits small screens everywhere on August 18, 2017.
